This was our second move with Metro Wide in the in the past 4 months. We had Derrick, who was on the crew of our first move, and Kevin. They were fantastic. Our estimate was for a 3 hour move and they did it in exactly that time, even though we moved to a 3rd floor condo and a busy elevator was involved. We highly recommend Metro Wide for your moving needs.
Wonderful service straight from the beginning! Super helpful customer service through our house's inventory assessment to completing our booking. They adjusted our move date earlier based on our time constraints... allowing us more peace of mind during an already stressful experience. Movers were professional, on time and continuously mindful of what our moving needs were. Hands down the best!
Had a fantastic day with Jones and Zippy. They are the epitome of customer service representatives of a business. Especially theirs. They were polite and courteous. Very proactive and efficient. We would definitely call Metrowide if we ever move again.
The movers made a high pressure pitch at the end of the move to give them a tip. I thought this was VERY inappropriate, and I never tip movers, I think it's unheard of. I feel so mad now that I caved in and gave them a tip. They also wanted a cash tip so they wouldn't have to pay taxes on it, so they could keep it out of the eye of the federal government. When I said I could add the tip on to my bill, he seemed a little unhappy. Then he had the nerve to call his boss with the total, and tell his boss that I wanted and offered to give them a tip. No, I did not want to. I was the victim of his high pressure tactic to give him a tip. Might never hire this company again.
I has Metro Wide Movers move my belongings on a windy, rainy Saturday. They 2 movers, Scottie and Austin were awesome! I was stressing about moving in the rain. They arrived early in the four hour time frame I was given. They were courteous and explained what they were able to move and what they weren't. They took excellent care of my stuff and got it all relocated without any problems. When I buy a house and want to move again, I'm definitely going to call them. I would highly recommend Metro Wide Movers and Scottie and Austin!!
