Good bouldering for beginners. Large roped walls and good prices. Relatively empty on Friday. Knowledgeable staff.
Fun place to climb. Great exercise for cold winter days.
There are great variations of routes at this gym. The setters do a solid job. I especially enjoy the overhang routes!
I bought my shoes and belay device here. They have a great shoe selection and are knowledgeable about the equipment you may need for outdoor climbing. Their prices are basically the same as any of the other specialty stores around that carry climbing gear so I would much rather buy from IBEX! They carry about anything you may need and are quite helpful.
I also took my lead certification course here and the instructor was incredibly patient with me! He took the time to show me everything I needed to know and was completely non-judgmental about my nervousness. The gym also worked with my schedule to ensure I was able to learn everything in order to lead belay before an upcoming climbing trip.
Awesome! My five year old daughter loves her climbing classes. The instructors are encouraging and patient, and the other kids are friendly. Her confidence has gone up since she started climbing. My wife and I enjoy climbing together a couple nights per week. Staff are excellent and the gym is clean. The people that frequent the gym are chill and encouraging. The pro shop has some good deals. Definitely worth checking out. They have a Groupon good for two weeks of climbing, free equipment rental, and a ropes course for pretty cheap. It's good for two people and is a great way to test the waters.
I would recommend this gym to anyone! It is a great, safe, laid back atmosphere.
