Gym is old and not well maintained (just look up at mildew & water spots on the ceiling tiles) and Now they just hiked renewal rates again, to $400 year for Couples. We were told that when Kurt bought the place from previous owner, renewal contracts would be honored - they weren't. But we stayed and made best of it because it was a close drive. No more.
A great gym! Machines, free weights and a good variety of cardio equipment. A helpful staff and Kurt the owner is a trainer plus Brandon Cass and others train privately. Blue Springs fitness also sells a variety of supplements hand picked by the owner.
I️ work out here like almost every day this is like a hardcore gym you go work out get out this is a gym that you can wear anything and not get in trouble or be Called a lunk or judgement free zone - your here to work out not eat junk food and be a slacker it’s like the garage feeling gym it’s cool and the owner and staff know you by name and are friendly a lot of work has been put into the place lately and being cleaned by staff members
NEVER SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!!!! When I signed up I explained that I only wanted month to month payments. The lady said they offer month to month and I could cancel at any time without further payments being deducted from my account. She NEVER notified me of the 60 day cancellation therefore they are STILL taking money out of my account when I cancelled in AUGUST, here it is OCTOBER. I called and spoke to the manager who said I would need to send in a certified letter to cancel and that it would take another 60 days to cancel. In the meantime, I’ll STILL be getting charged! I’m reporting this gym to the BBB and I highly recommend anyone looking for a gym to reconsider signing on the dotted line!!!!! I’m really disgusted with the outdated equipment and the money hungry way of doing business!!!! I’d rather pay $20 to get in 24 Hour Fitness EVERYDAY!!!!!
I love this gym. It's not even a little crowded in the morning. The staff is always pleasant. The gym itself is shows a little wear, but it add to its charm. There is PLENTY OF GYM EQUIPMENT. The weights are almost always in their proper location and I can usually find the equipment I need without waiting. It's a nice mix between a unibrow gym and a 24 Hour Fitness.
