This is literally the best pet store ever. The selection of animals is superior to any I've been in and they have tons of puppies. Excited to hear they may be getting cats. The fact that you can sit in a cubicle and play with any pet you want is super cool. The puppies seem healthy and happy and come with everything you need but are still a little overpriced in my opinion. Employees are always really nice and helpful and we look forward to coming here every time we're in the area.
Amazing store and employees! I came in yesterday with my son to look at dogs and Madison helped us. She was so informative and fun to talk too!!! Really made our visit a great one! I loved learning more about Petland and where the puppies come from.
There pet selection is good also has a rescue adoption available. This is where we got our dog. He is awesome with the kids.
As for those who do not like this store because it sells puppies, I can see your point but I am a dog lover, all breeds and combinations, there are many purebred breeds that I admire greatly and appreciate the time to come and visit and spend some time with them because I would otherwise not get to do much of that. Anyway I love all dogs, I don't discriminate because of what kind they are or how much they cost, they are already on this earth and as such, deserve love, attention and a good home, just like any other dog. (I have rescued many mutts in my time and they are also precious, ALL deserve to be loved and cherished!)
Great people, great experience especially for kids with all the birds, etc. I go there for saltwater, they do have a good selection of animals, just almost double the price of some other fish stores. I live in Blue Springs, so I always look at my choices, drive 40 miles, or pay for convenience. I'd say 6 times out of 10 I usually go there and just pay the extra so I don't have to drive. I'm always happy with the product.
I like this Petland. I come in here often to play with the puppies, and even though the staff knows that I can't afford one of their puppies, they are still very sweet about taking one out for me,. I like to give the puppies attention and play with them because I think it helps them get a home. Also I like to interact more with the ones who have been there longer. In the six months or so that I have been going up there, I have never encountered an employee who didn't seem to love these little pups and take good care of them. Maybe I am living in a bubble but I don't think so, I used to work at the SPCA and it's not too hard to tell who really cares and who doesn't. I do feel confident they take good care of their puppies.
