Great little place . Note__ they only have BISON (BUFFALO) and Elk. They do have wonderful trails
Aside from beautiful landscapes and great fishing, the best part is the quality time you can spend with your family.
My hometown lakes great fishing ; plenty of playgrounds for the kids ; and great shelters with picinic tables and bbq grills; top notch fascility.
Nice park, campgrounds is good, not great for wilderness feel. Full hookup, electric only, and primitive sites available. Not far from a variety of fast food and dining, also very close to the lake. A good place for Kansas City area locals to escape to, or for out of town folks to spend a night or longer.
Missouri Town 1855 is quiet little village of what an 1800's town might look like. Most buildings are authentic from the 1800's.
