Not only was the commission very easy and pleasant to deal with, but our entire experience leading up to this hearing was filled with competent and helpful city staff members that were EAGER to lend a hand, give explanations and offer valuable insights.
We recently attended a hearing with the Planning Commission for our application to obtain a Conditional Use Permit to open our business in Blue Springs. We found the members of the commission to be very courteous and polite and they even showed some humor. They asked a few simple and reasonable questions and did so in a very respectful manner. The facility was clean, well-lit and felt very modern and comfortable. After unanimously accepting our application, Chairman Billups smiled and concluded with, "Welcome to Blue Springs."
We are so excited to be doing business in such a wonderful city. If visiting and dealing with city officers late in the evening doesn't show you what a city government is really like then what does?!
I would encourage anyone looking for a place to start a business to start looking in Blue Springs.
